Historical Background

The T‑34/85 Mod.1944 manufactured by Plant 183 is one of the most mass‑produced late‑WWII Soviet medium‑tank variants.Equipped with the improved 85 mm ZIS‑S‑53 main gun and new larger three‑man turret.

Plant 183 (originally Kharkiv Locomotive Works) was a core T‑34 production facility relocated to the Ural region during the war. This variant took part in major Soviet offensives from 1944 through to the final capture of Berlin.
