The battleship Texas (BB-35) is the second vessel of the New York-class battleships in the United States and the oldest battleship still in existence.
The USS Texas BB-35 Battleship was laid down on April 17, 1911, at the Newport News Naval Shipyard in Virginia, launched on May 18, 1912, and commissioned on March 12, 1914.
This ship participated in two world wars. In World War I, it escorted the British fleet, and during World War II, it carried out operations such as the Normandy Landing and the Battle of Iwo Jima.
