    • The ROMOR-A explosive reactive armour kit was developed by Royal Ordnance to defeat shaped-charge warheads such as RPG-7.
    • Twenty ROMOR kits were produced; 10 sets were fitted on Centauro vehicles and deployed to Somalia for UNOSOM peacekeeping operation.
    • The ERA tiles greatly improved protection against anti-tank rockets while retaining the original mobility of the Centauro platform.
