    Historical Background

    The B1 Centauro is an Italian 8×8 wheeled tank destroyer entering service in 1991. The early 2nd series variant features original turret vision layout and early external stowage configuration, before the later production upgrades. Armed with a powerful 105mm rifled main gun, it delivers long-range anti-armor firepower while maintaining excellent road mobility. It was deployed in Somalia UN peacekeeping missions and multiple Italian Army operations.
