    The German Panzerjager 39(H) is a variant of the Marder I series tank destroyer, converted from captured French Hotchkiss 39(H) light tank chassis by German forces during World War II. Developed in 1942 to enhance the Wehrmacht’s anti-tank capability, the vehicle removed the original turret and installed an open-top fighting compartment equipped with a powerful 7.5cm PAK 40 anti-tank gun. A total of 24 Hotchkiss H39 chassis were modified for this conversion. It featured lightweight chassis and flexible maneuverability, capable of effectively striking Allied medium and heavy tanks. Serving on the Western and Eastern Fronts, it fulfilled crucial defensive anti-tank missions. As a typical German converted wartime armored vehicle, it boasts unique historical significance and high collection value for military model enthusiasts.
