    Gremyashchiy was one of 29 Gnevny-class destroyers (Project 7) built for the Soviet Navy in the late 1930s.
    Completed in 1939 using technology imported from Italy, the ship was active in convoy escort and ground attacks, and in March 1943 was awarded the title of Soviet Guard.
    She continued to achieve success and survived until the end of the war, remaining in service until 1958.
