Historical background:

The Panther tank was the main medium tank of the German army during World War II, designed to counter the Soviet T-34 tank. It entered service in mid-1943 and was in use until the end of the war.
The Leopard G-type was its third mass-produced series, with a total of 3126 units produced between March 1944 and April 1945.
