Historical Background

The M4A1(76w) HVSS Sherman was an improved late‑variant of the famous American M4 Sherman medium tank in World War II.

It adopted the powerful 76 mm main gun, wet‑type ammunition stowage to reduce fire risk, plus wide tracks and HVSS horizontal volute‑spring suspension.Better cross‑country mobility compared with earlier Sherman versions.
