MENG RS-005 1/12 Raceing Car McLAREN MP4/4 1988‘ MODEL CAR PRE-COLORED

[McLaren MP4/4]
- In 1987, the FIA (Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile) revised regulations in order to stop the overheating F1 machine development race.
- In 1989, it announced that it would ban the use of turbo engines, placing strict restrictions on the previously mainstream turbo engines.
-For this reason, while many teams adopted naturally aspirated engines in the 1988 F1 World Championship, McLaren introduced MP4/4 equipped with a turbo engine [RA168E] that does not conflict with the restrictions.
- With Ayrton Senna and Alain Prost as drivers, Ayrton Senna won his first driver's title after winning 15 out of 16 races.
- Completion size: total length 367mm x total width 177mm (from the manufacturer's website)
