    Historical Background

    The T-72B3M Mod.2022 is a field-upgraded variant of the Russian T-72B3M main battle tank. It is upgraded with 1130 hp V-92S2F diesel engine, fitted with extra Relikt ERA and turret top anti-drone mesh to defend against top-attack munitions and FPV drones. This 2022 wartime modification represents the practical battlefield protection upgrade of the T-72 series.
