MENG TS-059 1/35 French FT 75 BS Self-Propelled Artillery Assembly Model Kit

 

 

In 1918, when the First World War was coming to an end, France integrated a 75mm gun on the chassis of FT-17 tank and developed the FT 75 BS(Blockhaus Schneider) self-propelled gun. It replaces the original small turret with a large fixed fighting room. The installed 75mm short-tube howitzer has a maximum range of 2,100 meters, which can effectively destroy enemy shelters, machine gun nests and light bunkers. Although the output of this vehicle is scarce, as an important exploration of early self-propelled artillery, it undoubtedly left an indelible mark on the development history of armored warfare, and also made many beneficial explorations in tactical concepts and technical paths.
