    Historical background:

    The F-4E AUP is the main aircraft of the 338th Squadron of the Greek Air Force. Since the first batch of fighter jets entered service in 1974, it has been responsible for tasks such as air defense patrols and precision bombing.
    Through the "Peace Icarus 2000" upgrade plan, it is equipped with AN/APG-65GY radar and AIM-120B air-to-air missiles, greatly increasing its combat power. It is dressed in the blue and gray camouflage of the "Aegean Ghost" and is an indispensable multi-purpose combat force of the Greek Air Force.
