    Aircraft Background Intro

Designed and built by Alenia Aermacchi, the M-346 Master is a modern advanced supersonic lead-in fighter trainer jet for NATO-standard pilot training.

Italy’s iconic Frecce Tricolori national aerobatic squadron fully replaced its vintage MB-339 fleet with customized M-346 airframes starting from 2023. These display jets feature exclusive full-body red-white-green Italian national livery for global airshow performances.

Kinetic developed K48167 under its premium Gold line as the only mainstream 1/48 scale plastic kit dedicated to this official Frecce Tricolori special variant.
