    Historical Background

The Pz.Kpfw.II Ausf.F (Sd.Kfz.121) was the final mass-production variant of the German Panzer II light tank, produced from March 1941 to December 1942 with a total of 524 units built. It featured reinforced armour and improved production efficiency compared to earlier A/C variants. Armed with a 20mm autocannon, it was mainly used for reconnaissance and infantry support. It saw combat on the Eastern Front and in the North African theatre, but became outmatched by newer Allied tanks as the war progressed.
