    Historical Background

    The Horten H.XVIII was a proposed German intercontinental flying wing bomber designed by the Horten Brothers during WWII, part of the Amerikabomber programme targeting North America. It was a scaled-up development of the Ho 229 flying wing jet fighter. This design never progressed beyond drawings before Germany’s defeat. The kit is an alternate-history interpretation from Modelcollect, not a mass-produced real aircraft.
