    Historical Background

T‑72B3 (T‑72B3A) is a deep modernized upgrade variant of Russia’s classic T‑72 tank. Fitted with Arena‑M hard‑kill active‑protection system, multi‑phase array radar detects incoming RPG, anti‑tank missiles and drone threats, triggering intercept charges to neutralize projectiles before impact. Combined with Relikt explosive reactive armor, it greatly improves survivability on contemporary battlefields.
