Historical background:

B-1B is a supersonic strategic bomber of the United States Air Force.
In the 1970s, due to the strengthening of Soviet air defense capabilities, the original concept of high-speed and high-altitude bombing in the United States was hindered, and the B-1A project was cancelled.
In the 1980s, the Reagan administration restarted the project to counter the Soviet Union and changed access to the B-1B, which had low altitude and high-speed breakthrough capabilities and played an important role in subsequent military operations.
