    Historical background:

    The Bf 109 G-2 (nicknamed "Gustav") was an important improved model of the German Air Force's main fighter Bf 109 during World War II. It was an early production version of the G series and was heavily deployed on the Eastern Front around 1942.
    As the "air pillar" of the German Air Force, it undertook air superiority and escort missions in key battlefields such as the Caucasus Campaign and the Battle of Stalingrad in 1942, and was one of the core aircraft models used to counter the Soviet Air Force.
    The total production of the Bf 109 series exceeded 33000 aircraft, with the G series being the largest branch in terms of production, profoundly influencing the air combat pattern of World War II.
