Review of Tiger Model 4611 BMPT-72 Terminator-2 Model Kit

The BMPT‑72 Terminator‑2 is a tank support combat vehicle developed by the Russian Uralvagonzavod. It was first publicly unveiled in 2013 and is based on the T‑72 tank chassis, with a combat weight of 44 tons and a crew of three.

It features an unmanned turret armed with two 2A42 30mm autocannons, one 7.62mm machine gun, and four 9M120 anti‑tank missiles. The initial version's hull‑mounted grenade launchers were removed, the missile launchers received additional armour protection, and the fire‑control system was upgraded with day/night combat capability.

The role of BMPT‑72 Terminator‑2 is to operate alongside main battle tanks, with a focus on urban warfare, suppressing anti‑tank infantry, light armour, and fortifications, while the missiles can engage armoured targets.
