The drive sprockets and idler wheels of Aumsing Hobby T-90M use newly tooled designs, slightly different from previous versions.

Later, I repositioned the incorrectly installed armour plates. When installing the 3D-printed railings, make sure to align them with the locating points – the railing position affects the installation of the slat armour and anti-theft chains.

The main gun uses an internal hard mantlet, without the Soviet-style mantlet cover after the waterproof canvas is removed.

After installing the top armour plate over the gun, the main gun can elevate and depress freely without obstruction from the canvas cover.

Both turret hatches can be posed open. The rear bustle turret can be displayed with the cover plate removed. The roof weapon station can rotate but cannot elevate.


I missed two small parts on the upper front hull armour – installed them later.

Installing the anti-theft chains around the turret. The overall OOB build is now complete – the anti-theft chains have precise locating points for easy gluing. Pay attention to the angle of the chains on both sides of the main gun to prevent them from catching or deforming during gun elevation.

The model is built out‑of‑box, no paint applied.




For the 2024–2025 variant of the T-90M, the rear fuel tanks on the hull are the raised type, which means the anti-theft chains at the rear of the turret may interfere with the raised fuel tank protrusions. Be mindful of these two raised points when rotating the turret.
